I have a Northstar engine that is losing coolant quickly. The water pump, radiator cap, hoses, and thermostat are new. The radiator is about 2 years old. The system has been flushed within the past three weeks. I understand that there may be a problem with the head gaskets on these engines. I have run across a product called Thermagasket that the ownership claims will fix the problem. Does anyone have experience with this product? It is an inexpensive fix, about $130.00 delivered, but almost sounds too good to be true. Particularly in light of the $3,500 to $8,000 estimates I have received from dealers.

That's because it is. There is a painful and lengthy thread by Rfishing regarding Thermogasket if you do a search. I can save you a lot of reading though and tell you that it did not work.
