I was driving and all of a sudden coolant started leaking out very quickly from under the dashboard on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. The windows steamed up completely. Should I suspect the heater core is at fault, or a hose?

Could be either and you’ll hope it’s just a hose as replacing the core can be very labor intensive. Good luck!

Heater core. The hose clamps/connections are in the engine compartment and the heater core connector piping is sealed at the firewall with foam sponge insulation.

This is for a Seville but illustrates the point. NO FUN !!!

I replaced the heater core on my 98 deville, it’s the concours but I assume the heater core would be about the same to replace. Anyway I was amazed how easy of a replacement it was, I don’t remember for sure but cant believe it was much more than a couple hour job and I am slow...
