Coolant Flushing Mistake? ?

I have a 92 deville and i had the coolant system flushed and now i smell coolant outside of the car, after reading some posts i read that maybee i should not have had it flushed?? The shop told me it was coolant that spilled. Could anything real bad have happend with the flushing?

from what i understand something really bad could only happen if you had major pieces of debris in the cooling system. hopefully it is just spilled coolant that is evaporating off or something.
