Just a quick question, I have a 99 DeVille, There is a 96 SeVille in a junk yard near my house both of which have northstars of course my question is will the crossover unit from the SeVille fit into my DeVille?

I know there are slight differences between the vin 9 and vin y motors but im not to sure about part interchangability and I want to make sure the unit will fit before going through the trouble of pulling the junk yard part.

The only difference between the two motors is the intake cam. Crossover should be interchangeable.

If you have a garage, or large workshop and there's a half-decent engine close by, pick it apart and clean and store some parts.......you have cheap spare parts and a heck of a lot of first-hand knowledge. Save all those oddball nuts and bolts.......
