I have a 2003 3.2 auto. I noticed coolant dripping off of the catallitic converters cross support bracket today. I put it up on the ramps when I got home. I figured it might be a transmission cooling line loose. It looks like it is leaking from an area on the back corner of the engine block right near where the exhaust manifold mounts to the engine block. There is a square boss on the block there with a round indentation. Could this be a freeze plug leaking or is there a gasketed surface near there where the intake manifold interfaces to the engine block? It'd difficult to see. Either way this scares me because it looks as if this could be a pretty significant tear down to fix. I also changed the oil and it didn't look milky. Any thoughts? I'm going to call the dealer in the morning.
