On some CTS's I've seen grilles painted to match the car color(usually on the white or copper ), but i've never seen this as an option on the ordering form. Is this something the dealer is doing?. Or is it part of a package?

just custom do it...go to a paint shop

I had the dealer paint my 04 luxury sport the matching color. Attached pic.

Thats what I'm talking about, looks GREAT. How much did they charge you?

A bit too much I thought, but they warrantied it same as the rest of the body paint. About 350 bucks. And, I had them do it before I took delivery, so I didn't have to have the 'down' time later. I thought it changed the whole aspect of the car, probably to what GM once envisioned. Thanks for your kind words.
