I own a 2005 Deville and the suspension is done for, I went to my local shop and they told me that they wouldn’t do it unless I brought the new suspension in, I was wondering if anybody knew what coil overs are compatible with it, anything helps!

coil-over shocks are HORRIBLE -
absolutely the WORST possible choice you could ever make -
your Cadillac WILL ride like a 1-ton pick-up truck -
the car will NEVER be at the proper ride-height - ass-high when empty -
and the shocks are VERY noisy -

assuming the ELC - Electronic Level Control system no longer functions properly -
and further assuming the compressor is shot -
the BEST solution is to maintain the use of the air-assist type shocks -
and simply install the MANUAL FILL air line kit -
this way you only have to inflate or deflate the shocks when/if the load in the back seat and/or trunk changes -

I recommend the MONROE MA822 shocks - $70 - for the pair - with free shipping -

and the MONROE AK29 - MANUAL FILL KIT - $15 -
also from amazon -

the other benefit is that if you DO decide to replace the compressor -
you won't need another set of shocks -
by the way - a brand new compressor is $180 - including shipping - from rockauto.com -
