Guys,

I have my parents 96 Deville here at my house and it threw a SES code. I followed the directions on the forum for pulling codes and I am getting a PCO153 and PCO603. I did a search on the forum but came up empty handed. They are leaving Atlanta in a few days headed towards Iowa and I want to make sure that the car will not give them any trouble. Any help would be appreciated.

This one P0153 = Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Slow Response Bank 2 Sensor 1
Replace the sensor (exhaust manifold of the front cylinder bank) and the code will depart.

This one P0603 = Control Module Long Term Memory Reset.
No big deal. Don't worry, be happy!

Amencaddy, thanks. I will get on it early next week. I hope the O2 sensor is not too tough to replace.

The front manifold O2 sensor is not bad, just use an O2 sensor socket. The rear is another story.
