The MAF is pretty easy to find. Its located on the tubing between the air intake and the intake manifold. Its a big fat plastic ring that is the same diameter as the tubing with a flat piece and a connector coming out of it.
Check the connections and make sure everything is tight. If all looks well then you can take the tube apart and lightly spray the rod inside with brake parts cleaner or some other automotive cleaning spray BUT DONT TOUCH THE ROD, they get fouled easily. Actually it probably doesnt matter much if its shot anyway, but it might be ok.
If that doesnt resolve it, youll need to buy a new sensor. I believe they are somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 bucks to replace.
