Code Retrieval

Anyone know of a Diagnostic code retrieval procedure for 2006 cars similar to earlier 2000-2005 Devilles using the DIC?
Would be convenient to have this available for cars when not at home.
My search didn't turn anything up in this forum or in tech items.

Can't do it through the DIC on the 2006 and later DTS... You have to have some type of scan tool, like a TECH II that the dealers use...
