My 2000 deville is running rough and dying when braking. Checked and found code PO335 (crank sensor circuit "A" malfunction). Parts store says there is an upper and lower crank sensor. Dealer says you need to change both of the sensors. I find it hard to believe both sensors are bad. Anybody know which sensor is sensor for the "A" circuit? Thanks Pinner:

Heed Jim's advice. GM had a bad supplier from 2000 - early '03. Replace one and you will be doing the other later. Do them both while you are in there.

Just had both replaced on mine
at about 90,000 miles; consequently,
a stalling problem I had was
immediately rectified.
