Still having poor cooling at startup, idle conditions....
a tech checked freon, all good, his suggestion was first to replace clutch fan, then condenser,as it is 16 yrs old. Well I replaced clutch fan and still the same
So, are they all the same quality ??
Next I'm gonna do the condenser OR has anyone had great luck with adding electric fans in front of their condensers ??

pop the grill and make sure the radiator and condenser are clean of leaves, bugs, and dirt. Hose them out. My 02 is weak at idle but start driving it it pumps out air in the low 40s.

Yea, its clean and does the same thing when rolling, just brutal at startup and the first few stops. Maybe I'll try condenser cleaner again, then go from there.
The tech used a yard blower. Added air flow and it worked correctly so that's why I asked about fans too.

Clutch fans are just garbage at low speeds/idle. They work, but just barely. One thing I really want to do is convert over to electric fans. Parts are cheap-ish, and all-in my cost would be about $400, doing everything except the ECM programming. I could go cheaper if I found a set of fans from a junkyard, but I'd rather go with new parts.
