I'm new here so I'll apologize in advance if this has been asked before.

I did try to search it, but, well here I am.

I have a 2005. It drives like a dream. I drove my 45 min commute home with no problem. I never even shut the truck off from that trip, I was idling for a few then when I drove off, my truck was making grinding, clunking, and this weird sound that sounding like something was rubbing on the tire. I checked and nothing is visibly hitting it.

Here's what else I know:
It does not happen in reverse or when my foot is on the break/park as I fully turn the wheel left and right.

It started as I was slowly turning a corner.

The noise gets worse when I turn.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you so much for reading!

I would be checking the cv joints ASAP

Get under the truck and wiggle all the shafts as one has to have some play

Try that first and report back

Re: Oh my goodness. Please help.

I would jack up the front of the vehicle and check wheels for bearing play... i had the same thing happen this past weekend and front left hub assembly was bad....
