Finally got the carb rebuilt in my 88 Brougham D'Elegenace and she's running much better. Now, the climate control blower fan seems to have stopped working.
Beautiful fall day in Toronto, earlier today I had the system on Econ blowing outside air through the car. Could hear the fan, everything was working fine. Tonight I'm driving home from a friend's house and I turn the heat on as it was getting a little cool. Nothing. I can feel flow through warm air only when the car is moving. I can change the climate control from 32 (celsius) to 15 and I can feel cold air flowing through. The compressor is temporarily disconnected due to the fact that it comes on whenever it feels like it and I'm sick of losing power and wasting gas. I can't see this having anything to do with the blower motor though.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is it just the blower motor? Is it an electrical problem? I am tired of spending money on this car! Could it just be a fuse? Would anything else not be working as well?
Please help!
