I'm an airline mechanic by trade and would like to think that I can follow written instructions quite well. However, I seem to be having a problem clearing the codes on a '95 Eldorado I just purchased.​

I have the code S044, which I have interpreted, I believe, correctly. I would like to clear it and check again in a week or so.​

I have tried to follow the instructions on on the "access" website, with no success. Can anybody help?​

My recollection is that when RSS? is displayed you should answer YES by pressing FAN UP. I think that then displays CLEAR CODES? Answer YES again by pressing FAN UP.

Could be wrong though . . . .
