I have an 07 STS with the 3.6L V6 and have been chasing a misfire on cylinder 3 for the past month or so. If I’ve read correctly, cylinder 3 (and ignition coil C) is the middle one on the passenger side. So I’ve replaced the spark plug and the ignition coil as well as both valve cover gaskets and all 6 spark plug tube seals. Yet the misfire still remains. Any ideas on how I can take care of it? Thanks in advance

Swap fuel injectors with another cylinder and see if the problem moves. Spray a little water on the exhaust manifold with it running to verify your working on the right cylinder. The one misfiring will be cooler.

Agree mlAN. That goes for both injector and coil wires or connector. Good Luck.
