yeah that is what i said, Jews dont accept Him as the Messiah. the Last Supper was indeed a Passover feast, i believe it says that in the Bible but i cannot remember right now. Jesus did everything all the other Jews did celebration wise. i think though that the Sanhedrin and the Pharisees thought it crazy when He would heal the sick and raise the dead on the Sabbath. and when He said "I Am" that didnt set well with them either. i dont know what the reasons for not accepting Him though, maybe you can clear that up for me? but lets not turn this into a religious battle or anything, i would like to know more about Jewish religion and practices... we can do this through pm if you would like. hey did you check out the above link?

There is a recent break-away faction, called Jews-For-Jesus. They are people who now believe that Jesus was in fact, The Messiah. They believe that our religion can continue & prosper even IF we accept HIM.
Who are these people? Well, no, they are not crack pots or fools or freaks, many of them are very learnerd, wealthy corporation & business owners !
MOST of what you might call the "non believers" ~ look upon them as a freak side show. I don't. But, I do see the point that with the acceptance of Jesus as the Messiah, then there is very very very little distinction between our two religions.....
Now, your asking me this question would be akin to asking my wife, Karen to properly explain the purpose of a rear differential in a car. Dig ?

what i am afraid of is in the Tribulation time, the Antichrist might be looked at as the Messiah because he is going to make peace with Israel for possibly 7 years, but 3.5 years in he is going to go to the temple which is to be rebuilt and say that he is God. therefore ending that peace treaty. well i guess he will be killed at one point but raise from the dead again and he will have the power to bring fire down from heaven (much like Elijah who i believe will be one of the two witnesses against Antichrist, him and Enoch since they never died and they will be slain after the 3.5 years, believers can only die 1 time). the Tribulation is supposed to be where you choose to either accept Jesus as the Messiah or reject Him and follow the Antichrist. where as us christians are going to be raptured out. the ones left that choose Jesus will be the tribulation saints and will be martryed (sp?) and only a few will be left to see the second coming at the end of the 7 years. i say 7 because that is a guesstimate, it never really says it in the Bible but there is supposed to be hints that it lasts 7 years. basically the world will be wiped out and only a few will remain alive although the exact number is not known. that Jews for Jesus thing seems like a good thing although i didnt see anything about what they believed. all i care is that they repent of their sins and have faith in Christ. i talked to a rabbi once who told me that he believed Jesus was the Messiah for the Gentiles but really i dont know why or what reason he would believe that.
