I traveled 100+ for 60 or so miles, got home added some refrigerate for the A/C ( put too much and had to release some pressure ), some time later I started my car, did a 3-point turn around and 100 yards later the car dies “all the sudden”😶 I try to start the car and only get the check engine light rapidly flashing almost looking 3D😮 WTF is happening to my bad ass ride? It’s a 2009 CTS. Lemme know what you know!

Should have an associate error code.
When I hook up the OBD two it says that it’s not able to connect to the computer for some power lack of some sort I am currently charging the battery to full capacity and if that works then it will if not either way I’ll let you know and thank you

For the DLC (diag port) for a scanner to work it needs getting this to function :

Using a multi meter test and be sure that pin 16 of DLC is getting ground and 12 volts (pin 16)
Most cases for GM it gets the 12 volts from the same circuit as the cig lighter, check fuse

I drove my 2007 CTS 100+ for over an hour and it was running fine when I stopped it, but once I started back up, the timing chain skipped a tooth and the car started running very badly. Codes said multiple misfires. A new timing chain fixed it.

When I've encountered problems similar to this, I've found that attaching the auxiliary power cord that plugs into the lighter if available, or starting the engine helps gain access .

Upon further review, I have found that the wiring cord that goes on the back to the front through the firewall has been compromised because of the grommet being improperly reinserted possibly causing a pierced insulation discombobulation...

Drive 100+ for 60 miles to the nearest shop. ;)

Do you have the ability to pull OBD codes now?
