Cheap V Bumper

Ok so I stumble across this site, and from what I know, they are selling reasonably enexpensive v bumpers for $434. (FRT BUMPER COVER - EXC CTS-V - PRM 2003 - 2004 $434.77 ) Im hoping EXC doesnt stand for excludes!! If anyone here who knows what theyre actually doing can check it out and see If im right, that would be great. I believe its just the cover itself, but the assembly parts arent too expensive, from what I gather from the forums.

Thanks!

I paid $100 for my V Frt Bumper and $40 for the rear bumper. Don't forget you need a lot of other parts for that front bumper.
That's for a primed CTS bumper, not V
I was afraid of that. Well I saw the front cover on ebay. supposedly it comes already paint to match your cts for $799. Anyone think this is a good deal?

$100?!?! Robert, u would find a steal like that...thats like a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity. What would you say is a reasonable price for a primed front cover

Yep, Both Of Mine Had Minor Damage. Patience Needed.
I paid for $430 for a primed V Bumper. To my knowledge, Body Shops get discounts of 20-40% off MSRP. Speak with someone at a body shop and ask them if they'll pass the discount on to you, and they can make there profit from doing the paint-job. That's how i got mine. Got the bumper for $430 and was charged $350 to paint and install the bumper and fogs.
I got mine for $450 with fogs, and grills, from a rear ended wreck. No one bid on eBay, so I emailed the guy an offer, and he took it! That was two years ago. Besides the cover, there are many other parts to acquire, and they will add up (>$800 including grills, inner fenderwells, brake ducts, belly pan, fogs, license plate bracket, etc), plus you need to get it painted. I paid a total of $2100 for the front end, side skirts, ancillary parts, and color matched paint at my dealer, when all was said and done. I also kept my stock grill and had it painted body color at the same time, and replaced all of the emblems (old ones were gold).

So I just spoke to one of the guys who sell the cover on ebay item number (260125276647) and this is what he said "Hi when we add the ebay fees and shipping cost the price is very close to the list price from cadillac.
that is the price anyone can purchase parts from a dealer. the shop that is painting the bumper should be able to get the bumper from cadillac at a lower price than the list price you will be paying.
they should give that discount to you and mark up the paint job from the price they payed for the bumper not list. list price is around $650 they so they shold be able to sell you the bumper for around $499."

So Im thinkin I can get it for $499, what u guys think?
The part number for a V front bumper cover is 12335777

GMPartsDirect has it listed for $372.92 (
$607.77 List Price), although they typically add ~15% (~$60) for shipping and handling. Total price should be around $430 shipped. Thats cheaper than $499.

I meant tyring to get a deal from a local body shop, not via ebay because shipping will increase the A) cost and B) risk of receiving a damaged bumper.
FYI: I think the V bumper will cost a lot more than 430 from gmpartsdirect. If im not mistaken, last time i checked it was almost $600 (shipping included).
Ok how about this place? painted bumper for $650?http://virtualbodyshop.com/index.php?cPath=973_993_994
