I have a 2005 stock Escalade with the the OEM 17” 265/70/17 set of tires and wheels on the truck. I am thinking about changing to either some OEM 20” (275/55/20) or 22” (285/45/22). Will either of these sizes change the ride of my 2005? Are there any changes needed to the computer if you change sizes? There are some low mile takeoffs available in my area. I am thinking about changing because I like the look of the next generation OEM Platinum style. Thanks you’re your help.

No changes to the computer are needed maybe just programming of new tire sensors, you may notice a difference in ride quality with either size... Will it be enough to make you want to stay with 17's probably not, and you also pickup stability from less sidewall

Here is a picture of the 2015 Escalade 22" on my 03 ESV. As far as the ride goes, it is a little stiffer with the 22" vs. the 17". I like the stiffer ride though because there is less "wallowing" on the back roads and curvy freeway exit ramps are more fun because the shorter/stiffer sidewall handles the turns a little faster and no tire squeal like from the 17" tires. The 22" are definetly a lot heavier than the 17". That along with the 22" tires are a lot wider probably means I get less MPG, but it really doesn't concern me. I didn't buy it for gas mileage.

The tire size difference between the 275/55/20 and stock 265/70/17 is 1%, very acceptable so no computer changes necessary for the speedo.

I'd take the advice and stay away from the 22s. My 07 has stock 22s and I also test drove a higher mileage 07 with base 18" wheels, the higher mile truck with 18s rode much better than my purchase with the 22s. I have the stock 20s off my 05 that are going on my 07 as soon as the tires I ordered come in. For me and the roads I drive along, with what I expect the Escalade to ride like the 22s are just too much.

Decided to go with the OEM 20's. I got a great deal locally on a set of 2015 OEM 20 takeoffs (400 miles) with 275/55/20 Continentals. Thanks everyone for your advise.

I have a 07 Cadillac Escalade and 24" wheel with 305/35/24 tires But the frontdriver side is rubbing what tire size should I replace them with? Help please....

It would be 305/30/24. This is 99-06 section. You could cut the wheel well also does it rub in reverse
