CATALYTIC converter

Okay so while driving at 75mph for 50+ miles my codes p0430 finally went out but when back into the city it came back on.
Could this 've because at such high speed the flow of exhaust is so great that it seems to be normal but when slowed backpressure comes and and notices its below efficiency?
BTW I've had this code for a year now and the car drives great with no hard starts or anything.

i have the same code, I'm 99% sure its the CAR going bad. Given it isn't plugged it wont affect the performance only emissions. I plan on replacing once I have to get the car smogged
