Based on the exterior and interior design, what are the cars you fell in love with the first time you saw them?

I'm trying to remember what cars I liked when I first saw them when they first came out...

04+ Audi A8
08+ Cadillac CTS ( I *will* have one of these in a few years, after depreciation has kicked in!)
05+ Maserati Quattroporte
06+ 997 Turbo
Bugatti Veyron
97-99 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4
Volkswagen Phaeton
300M
Aston Martin Vanquish

And I can vaguely remember, as a kid (I must have been like 7-8) going to the annual new car auto show at the Convention Center in Minneapolis with my dad and sitting in a DeVille Concours and loving it.

As for older cars....

Aston Martin Lagonda
Mark IV Continentals
79-85 Eldorado
1958 Plymouths
80-92 Broughams/80-84 Devilles
Delorean
68-70 Charger
67-68 GT500
93-97 Prelude (again, as a kid going to the dealer in the spring of '93)
Jeep Grand Wagoneer
Lamborghini Countach

For me it was a bright orange `71 Dodge Challenger with a 472( I think) crate motor. It was the July photo in a muscle car calendar Dad bought me when I was seventeen.

The first time I saw a '93 Olds Cutlass Supreme two door I knew I wanted one.
I think it was a '93. I just thought the whole thing looked beautiful.
I did get a '92 and that was probably my favorite car for a long time.
I just loved the lines on that thing.

I fell in love with some of those exotics you named above too.

My '94 STS in White Diamond with faux-top in tan and the Cadillac logo wheels on it that, to this day, I have not seen on any other car.

Challenger/'Cuda of all years.

'68 Sport Fury. Used to walk past one on my way to second and third grade. Ten years later I heard it was on sale, after not having moved for probably fifteen years. I drove back to my hometown and bought it.

'64 Dart GT.

Any late fifties mopar, especially the DeSotos and the Fury.

XLR

Ford 427 Thunderbolt.

'63 Thunderbird.

'63 Mercury Monterey.

'68 Roadrunner/GTX

That Jag that was in Sandy's thread about what kind of car he kept seeing and wanted...

Crap...so many more that I can't come up with this early in the morning. All the oddball mopars that no one likes. The uglier the better, I've always thought...

I was driving by the Chevy dealer in Concord, California in 1963. Sitting on a platform was my dream car, a turbocharged Corvair Monza Spyder. I pulled my '62 Chevy pickup into the lot, ran over to a salesman talking to a prospective buyer for the car and bought it right out from under them. I had more trouble with that thing than you could ever imagine. I had the engine and powertrain out of it 9 times before I quit counting. It would really come off the line and carry the front wheels for over 100 feet.

Hmmm, I loved the 2000 Lincoln LS when it was introduced. (I thought it was a Beemer when I first saw it.) Now a few years later and  Bor-ing. Also didn't care for the 2003 CTS, lmao. I guess the bodystyle finally grew on me. :bigroll:

Ah Thanks, I didn't even notice. WOOT! 1000 that is a nice milestone for me, since I rarely ever make it that far in one forum. Shows how much I like it here

I fell in love with the Saturn SC as soon as I saw the first picture in the car mags way back in 1990, then I bought one:

One of the best looking sport cars out there I think, oh and probably the most fun to drive car I have ever had the pleasure of: (Mazda RX-8)

And probably my favorite, and the one car I am pissed at myself for never owning, the 1989 Turbo Grand Prix:
