I hand wash it when I'm in AR but have to use autocarwash in MI383 LT1 SS said:Doesn't everybody hand wash their truck? Auto car wash = swirl marks. 383 LT1 SS
Not necessarily ..... the one I go to has a "feather touch option" and while I think it's a bit harsher than that, I have not seen any swirl marks....... The hand held wash is fine for light washes in the summer but i find I need the "blast" and "touch" of the automatic to get the vehicles clear of road salt residues and crud on the undercarriage.Doesn't everybody hand wash their truck? Auto car wash = swirl marks.

Mine was build 12/23/14, a day before Xmas. Hopefully they were not in a hurry to leave.zerdian1 said:I use a fantastic local HEAVENLY HANDS Detailer to clean and wax my cars. But it was suggested to wait the first 3 months after being built before waxing. You can wash with hose or by hand anytime. My car was build on Dec 17th and on St Patricks day it will be 3 months.
Wow! Those boards are one of the things that sold me on the Escalade.....they make getting in and out so easy! ( of course our age ..68 might have something to to with itYeas, Im having the same issue with wanting the boards extended while washing. I was told if you stand on them while someone else turns the engine off they will stay out- but haven't tried that yet.
Also, I don't like the clunking as they go in and out and find them in the way as I get in or out so usually mine are disabled - then every time I start the truck I get a chime and warning that they are disabled. Yeah - I know - I disabled them! Lol. I need to find a way to disable the disabled warning.
yup!the power boards were a main thing for us with this big truck.
They should have been standard on the platinum and premium.
They do make it easy to get in and out for me being 70 they are almost a necessity.
works the same for me...!I tried the button on the upper left of the CUE and it simply opens the power steps and leaves them open with no messages on my CUE.
