Hello All

I left the key in the on position and battery died. I now can not move the floor shifter out of park.
Any suggestions? I have made sure I had the key set to on and pressed the break but no luck.

I got a boost from a friend and the battery was so dead it took 10 mins of being connected to their batter to get a charge enough to move the shifter and start teh car. I need a new battery lol. but thanks for your help. I didn't thing that the batter was that dead that it locked the shifter.

If this is your original battery and you got 6 years out of it in Canada, you did well. I had mine load-tested last month and was told that it might die tomorrow or you might get a few more months out of it. Either way, as someone else said in a similar thread, after 5 years a battery doesn't owe you anything.
