I mean why not enjoy it?

I've driven a ct6v BW last 3 winters, no garage nothing, in Toronto also.

Undercarriage of the car looks bran new and zero rust anywhere. I have done no rustproofing either.

If you got black I'd highly recommend full paint correction, ceramic and full PPF. That's all I've done and the car looks newer then most delivered cars with swirls in the paint.

Enjoy the car!!!

Hmm sorry mate don't agree at all. These aren't last generations cars they are much better designed. Yes it's not proof but really... did you have a bad past experience with a Subaru by chance?

I'll never sell my BW, it's the perfect daily driver for me. I never bought it to resell or trade it down the road, it's a keeper and will go to the collection.

I have zero corrosion/rust anywhere on mine, nothing on the underbody it's clean and engine bay clean, looks bran new still. It's 4 years old now with nothing, you think magically it will start rusting/corroding and fall apart from the inside in the next 6 years or more... these cars are also farely well sealed now.

Only maintenance I will say I do is weekly no touch car wash. I clean engine bay/breaks every 3months. Ceramic maintenance twice a year.

Otherwise only other protection would be full paint corrections, ceramic and full ppf.

It's not a supercar man... it's a 100k car... and unless your actually storing it properly sitting a car for months at a time isn't healthy for it. Ive also sold only summer driven cars and ones driven all year with similar mileage, same year, same model it really makes zero difference to the price tbh.

So if your worried u wont be able to sell your BW in 10 years or wtv because u drove it in the winter your wrong it will fetch perty much exact same price.

Okay gents - I've cleaned up a few posts and removed others that got a little too personal. We can disagree but we do so in a respectful way that makes this thread both helpful and pleasant for the rest of the forum's members.

I had to clean up a few things that didn't make sense once the personal attacks were removed.

Let's keep it respectful.

My 5BW is a no show. Revised delivery date for end of March. So this would be the second date change. C8’s make it to GTA in under 2 weeks from Bowling Green, but 5BW’s take the scenic route, I guess.
All very normal I've been told. Mine had several EDDs come and go. Your timing will be great for the warm season! Are you in the GTA?

With Spring arriving slowly (!), I‘ve decided to change my 5BW emblems with Carbon ones. I bought them from Deep Blue Chrome and they look really nice. I will install them as soon as weather is warm enough to do so. I also sent them my Blackwing badge to have it carbon as well.

I just took mine out for a short ride as I was inspired by the post and its a nice down here in southern New York State. BAD call!!!! A truck coming around a corner dropped all kinds of landscaping stones onto the road right in front of me and I had no way to avoid them!!!! I hit them square!!!! I have minor gouges in two places on the front bumper from them. I am pissed!!!!!!!!!

I've been out a couple of times as well, trying to run down the mileage clock to past the break in period. It's currently in the shop getting PPF and will be more fun to drive aferwards as I don't have to be afraid of rock chips. I'll probably then do a few more long highway trips to run out that mileage, then get the oil and diff fluid changed and let 'er rip!

I received a notice in my Cadillac app mentioning that the park assist control module retrofit has finally begun. I don’t know if any of you who took delivery are in the same situation. My car was delivered last August without it. Program Number is 22237570. You need to call your dealer and they will order the part.
