Can you use the tire Inflater without the can of sealant attached to the unit and just use it as a Plan Air only inflater?

Yes, you can. I have done it several times. The black tube is for air only and the clear tube is for sealant and air. There is a dial that you move to the air only position. Directions are in the owner's manual. Hope this helps.

Thanks , Mine expires Dec. 2019. I figured most of it out, now just have to figure out what the Top most button is for, the one that's above the Pressure Gauge on the 2015 SRX inflater.

It's to let air out of the tire if you accidentally overinflate. It's in the manual. The manual is your friend ;) ----------

Remember, that can of sealant needs to be replaced. I am pretty sure it has an expiration date on it.
Yikes! Mine expires this month! Anybody replaced theirs and can give me an idea on cost?
TIA
