I can modify any car headlight. To have it painted OEM to match is $300. It gets painted and cleared coated just like your car. The headlights will match your car.CTS V6 3.6 said:it says 300 for oem paint match on the site. If he can do a CTS, id pay.
Most people go with flat black but it depends on what kind of look you are try to achieve with your car.johnnybn said:Dan,
You've got an email. Anyone think they can photoshop what this would look like? I would do it but I lost my illegal copy of photoshop. Any opinions as to whether flat black or glossy black paint would look better? Thanks!
That's $600 for two plus shipping and insurance. Would look nice on a black car.CTS V6 3.6 said:it says 300 for oem paint match on the site. If he can do a CTS, id pay.
The prices are for the set.johnnybn said:Well is the price for one or two?
The only real down time is shipping. Once the headlights are in my hands it takes a day or 2. If you only want to clear (remove orange reflector) and paint flat or gloss black I will only need the headlights for 1 day and if you would like them painted OEM it will take 2 days.RobertCTS said:Devil's advocate here. Keep in mind this require the removal of the complete front bumper. Unless you get spare headlight assemblies your CTS is gonna be down for some time.:yup:
Well that helps Mr Zipp. I gotta shp ebat to see what regular CTS assemblies are going for. I don't want my car down for a week as it's my daily driver.MrZipps said:The prices are for the set.
It depends. Most of the new cars are pearled or metallic so its hard to get a decent match with glossy black.johnnybn said:Would the $200 glossy black option approximate the stock color?
It's a lot of work and difficult for one person to handle due to its size. I have a service manual with text and diagrams how to do if anyone wants them faxed to them.johnnybn said:Robert, how hard is it to remove the front bumper? Can it be done by one person? I did it on an old Camaro I had and I remember that the hardest part was getting it lined up right when putting it back on.
