My local dealer told me that Recaros are no longer available to be ordered from the factory. Is this really the case? They still show up on the Cadillac build-your-own web page.

Let me guess: Your Dealer wants to sell you one without them, right?

Recaros have been on constraint (limited availability) since the car launched last year. If I had to estimate, I'd say for every seven or eight I order, I can order one with Recaros. All that being said, they are continuing to offer the Recaros as an option.

3 weeks, oh well, I guess it's better than 6 weeks. Now I know what it's like to anticipate progress in your order. I really appreciate reading Scott's posts in this forum, very informative.
BTW, my dealer ordered Recaro's without any comments, I was lucky he would honor my GMS as well. No other Nor-Cal dealer would for me.
