I want to introduce myself to the forum. I must say up front that I do not own a Cadillac, although my recent introduction to the CTS-V has got me thinking... "My baby would look good in that". And the idea of a comfortable Corvette sounds good too.
How I came to your forum is that a CTS-V owner contacted me through one of my eBay auctions a few months ago asking about motor mounts. We manufacture and sell Ultra Mount motor mounts and he asked if we made mounts for the CTS-V. I told him that we didn't, but were willing to help, that was the last I heard of him. I didn't forget the inquiry and it sounded interesting, so I did a Google search and here I am. We already build mounts for the 04-06 GTO's so it wasn't that big of a stretch.
I read the rules and regs and about the different levels of supporting membership. It all sounded reasonable to me so I thought I'd take the next step to see if you're interested in another vendor. We've paid plenty in eBay fees over the years, but would feel better about spending the money to support the forums, that support the car guys, that help support us. If you like, go check us out on eBay, not to buy anything, but to see if we're for real. No one has time for low quality products and lousy service, including me. I'm not here to waste anyones time. Just search "Ultra Mount" we will come up.
I hope this introduction didn't come across as a "sales pitch", I stand here with hat in hand, and have struggled with this post so not to come across as a greasy salesman. You guys can tell me to "Pack Sand", it's your game.
I will be watching to see your response. Have a good one, Max

 Hiya, Max. If I'm not mistaken, anyone who pays for the privilege can be a vendor here. There's a lot of motor mount discussion on the forum. Good luck.

Howdy Max. You're welcome to join as a Supporting Vendor and tell everyone why your motor mounts are superior to others. Right now we have one member making his own and selling them, as well as a Cadillac Dealer who contracted UUC to build motor mounts, but the more the merrier (the stock MMs on CTS-Vs are junk).

Here's the link to become a vendor.

Devilles and Sevilles are not much better after they did away with the torque struts aka dog bones.

No luck here.
Sorry about that, Try searching "Ultra Mounts" with an "s" . Some other stuff also comes up but we're in there. Just checked it, we came up. Thanks for caring enough to make sure we're legit.

RightTurn, Thanks for the Hiya, Just thought an introduction would be appropriate. Better to be invited, than to just show up and expect to buy your way in. I know what you mean by a lot of motor mount discussion going on. I've been watching and reading for about a month now to get the flavor of the motor mount situation and from what I've read I think I have something to bring to the table. In addition to offering motor mounts we are also a complete machine and fab shop so if other projects for the forum come up down the road we'll be here to lend a hand.

Ranger, I am open to build whatever model of motor mounts are required. If anyone on the forum has a problem with the current mounts available for their car, let us know. All we need are the dimensions. A stock mount is perfect sample to start with, once we have that as a reference point we can go taller, shorter, softer or stiffer. It's all about what the customer needs the mount to do. Max

Welcome Max. For what its worth, you don't need to have money to play with the Caddies. Hell, I work at Wal-Mart for $10 an hour.
