right now my calipers are painted black but i want to change them.
this is what i was thinking, tell me if i'm on crack.
i want them chrome, but i can't find chrome high temp paint.
could i could i paint them with high temp primer, then regular chrome paint, then high temp clear coat them?
would it work? waddaya figga?

Do you track your car (autocross) or otherwise abuse your brakes? If not, regular (non high-temp) paint will be fine. I (any many others) have used regular paints on our Corvette calipers without problems:



Another option would be to have them powder coated.

Hope its not to far off topic, but I can't remember what color the V's color caliper are. I think they're off white? Anyone refresh my memory? Thinking about doing mine but just want the clean factory style look. Thanx-

The VHT is a good durable line of paint. It will do what it says it's advertised to do. Just spend extra time on the prep ( read : clean clean clean ) and you should be more than fine.
