Must be nice... we love ours, but it goes to the dealer for warranty work more often than it goes for oil changes!

Hoping the Lyriq will be better when we can order one of those.

My 2018 had very few issues, squeaky brakes every day from new which were replaced then fine and not a lot more went wrong with it. Don't think anything else actually. My 2021 is now a full year old and funny enough I thought they'd solve this issue, but the squeaky brakes are still an issue since I bought it but nothing else has gone wrong. I just haven't got them fixed yet since it will be a warranty issue I thought well let's get some use out of these brakes before swapping them out under warranty. Once they heat up the squeak gets much more quiet.

Don't wait too long. Pads and rotors are considered consumable and may not be covered for free replacement after too long, even under the BtB warranty.

I had the squeaky brake issue too and I didn't like the pedal feel either. I replaced the pads with Brembo's. Solved the squeak and a bit better on pedal feel, though not perfect for me anyway.

Yes point well taken, likely get it looked at in the next two months when I bring it in for winter tire swap. As long as the wear on the brakes are very well above replacement stage I'll be fine. One year on them I'll be good to go I'm sure, but next summer would likely be too long.

I was just driving my XT5 for work today (my truck was getting brake job) and I was thinking, at 23k miles it's my favorite car I've owned. My driving is 30% around town and 70% freeway long drives round trip Northern Ca to Las Vegas once a month. It's been trouble free other than a CUE issue replaced under warranty and a couple of small rattles. But what a really nice car/suv. Just everything about it. I'm at a constant tug of war to sell or not to sell my 2019 XTS. Today I've decided to get serious and list the XTS. The XT5 just checks all the boxes for me...sorry to ramble lol. I just really love the XT5 and had to give my 2 cents
