Cadillac Seville STS 1994

I recently aquired a 94 Seville Sts with 70000 miles on the car, for a job I did for a friend. The car is in mint condition, outside and in, except for when I drive the car during the day it stalls as I am driving. I have it running for about 10 minutes, and when I get to a stop light it stalls. It starts up again, and we go through the same thing at the next light. Now I live in south Florida and it is quite humid during the day. I say this because at night it runs, dare I say it, Like a cadillac. It runs great I can't figure it out. I replaced the fuel filter thinking it wasn't getting fuel, but it still does it. The owner now tells me she had this problem 8 months ago, and had the wiring harness replaced. She didn't want to spend anymore money on the car so it just sat. If anyone has any ideas, I would like to hear them.

Thanks for your time,
Tony

Your TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) is stuck in the ON position and not releasing when you step on the brake. It is like stopping an manual transmission car without stepping on the clutch. Pull the codes. I would suspect you will see P088 (E088) .... Torque converter clutch did not disengage when commanded OFF by PCM. The problem might be as simple as a disengage switch on the brake pedal, or as complicated as the TCC solenoid in the trans. A FSM would be a big help in diagnosing it (not Chiltons or Haynes). Ebay is your friend.
If you need help pulling codes, you can find everything here:

P.S. Don't forget to look around Anthony's site while you're there. Lottsa interesting stuff.
