Hi guys,

So i Put a Cadillac Script on my trunk, adjacent to the CTS logo, and I love it.

Now I bought two more. One has arrived. And I want to put them on the sides of the car.

I'm into branding, I guess. In my Trans Am I got black reflective decals for the TRANS AM on the doors!

Anyways, where do you think they would look best?

Towards the front of the door over the moulding?
In between the door and wheel well (Fender)?
Maybe the quarter panel?

I think it would look neat to have the script on the sides. This way, when people look over, they won't have to think, "What kind of car is that??"

As for scripts up front where I have CTS might be good, although the older font style isn't nesseceraly my thing.

There was a woman driving a cashmere caddy on the highway today, she had CTS scripts like I did on the doors, a v grill and caddy emblems on the C pillars. I was hoping to find a 20 something hottie driving it, but alas, I think she was comming back from bingo. So sad. I just accelerated away

Maybe the caddy script with emblems somewhere?

I don't care for the CTS logo so I removed it and replaced it with the Cadillac script. What do you think?

:hmm: It's ironic, the CTS is a Cadillac, but it doesn't say Cadillac anywhere. Other than the multi-color crest, many wouldn't know, some still don't know. I like the Cadillac script on the back of the trunk. It's like the Coca Cola script, one look says it all.

I have a small badge right next to the CTS script on the trunk. It says Cadillac, but it is too small to read from a car behind it. And people here don't know Cadillac (only the old ones with the big tailfins), neither the logo nor the script. So at traffic lights I see people behind me lean over their steering wheel and try to read the script... funny

Not to offend anyone, but I'm not a fan of the Cadillac script.. It's too "old", especially for Caddy's new styling. I wish they'd make a Cadillac emblem with the CTS type 'font'.

Old isn't always a bad thing. With it comes some elegantz, class and charm. And like a fine Merlot it improves with age. I think that's the purpose of the thread. I have a very small chrome Caddy wreath on my console with the old crown and ducks. Heritage is good.

I think that cadi script that you have on the trunk, should stay on the trunk...if you put in on the sides, it may just look a little too big for a side emblem, IMHO...go with the CTS scrit or a Cadi Wreath/emblem for the sides

I guess I just have an affinity towards the script. Ever since I was a kid my grandfather always had a Cadillac, so there is something about the script that just makes me smile.

The new one is sitting on my monitor right now!

But yes, there is no doubt it looks "old" as compared to the CTS font. I think that's part of the charm.

I love those CTS's on the fenders. The script might be a bit to big there. I will try it there as well as on the door, over the moulding, I guess.

Once I clean the car and go outside and hold it up, I am sure the answer will appear before my eyes.....!

And if it looks like crap, there is always the old heat gun, and back on my monitor it goes!

The Cadillac script is old, but it's an American icon. It represents class!

you robert, i want to see the one on your dashboard...and i want to see a pic of the wreath on the quarter panels...i think that would look pretty sweet, kinda like the "v" logo thats there...

You guy's might want to check into the new logo's that I saw at the Dealer. They were called Cadillac CTS Signature Logos. I saw a not so good picture, so I'm not sure if their decal or emblem. They do however look very contemporary and have that cusom look your looking for. What I was thinking is if they are just decals,but look good, we might be able to have them made into emblems that are chromed or painted the same color as the vehicle. I'll post as soon as I get a clear example.

I have the script on my trunk lid and the old emblem on my console. I posted the trunk lid. I'll show the console pic asap. Like me old is good

Plus the grand prix was "new" in 2004. We're in the 06' model year now, she needs get with the program
