To narrow this down just a bit, lets talk about the 6800 1971 Eldorado convertibles that were built.
I have the data book so I know how my car breaks down.
The question is...how many were produced, with the same trim level, paint, interior color, top color, and extra options just like mine?
Or is this something I need to get in touch with the GM heritage center to nail down?
I've read that Cadillac kept the best records out of all GM branches so it should be available.

Any info is much appreciated.
Thanks

Except for 1968. For that year the records are somehow lost.

The Heritage center might be able to help. However certain options were"grouped" like tinted glass and Climate Control for example. However, You're Not going to get anywhere with the how many had this and that but not the other and those options.
