Hello All,
Does anyone know of any Cadillac only junkyards?
I found one on the web (www.cadauto.com) & ebay, but they do not have the parts I need for my 2001 STS.
Any contact info will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Arapahoe Auto Salvage in Seridan, CO (Denver area). Not sure if he works long distance, I deal with him locally. Ask for Donny.

Thanks for the info guys!
I'll try the ones you all provided and see if I can finally locate the parts I need to finish my STS.
I'm hoping one of these yards have the 4 backup sensors I'm looking for and I can stop driving around with 4 empty holes on my rear bumper!
The dealer wants about $160 for each sensor!! GM# 89046909

Thanks Again

Awesome yard!
Sometimes they seem a little expensive on certain parts...or maybe I'm just a cheap wad...these are Cadillac parts after all. But they have ALWAYS had what I'm looking for when the u-pull-its don't.
Occasionally Donny (Jr?) will let you pull your own parts, but usually not. But they do let you walk the yard and pick the donor car, and will let you watch as they pull the part, in case you need to see how to do it yourself. Their yard man is pretty helpful.
I don't know if they do long distance stuff either, but man it's a great spot if you're close enough.

iametarq,
I have been looking for them on ebay daily for the past 2 weeks. I found three of them one time, but they were missing all the attaching plastic hardware (outer plastic bumper ring & inner plastic clip. I called the dealer and was told that the attaching plastic hardware was not available separately and only come with the new $160 sensor.
I should of ordered the regular rear bumper cover without the backup sensor holes!!
I even thought of ordering the aftermarket sensors on ebay, but the mounting holes are 7/8 (22mm) and I believe the ones on the STS/Deville are over an inch?

Thanks,
Henry

I just received an e-mail from Cadillac Heaven and it seems they may have the backup sensors I need.
Thanks again for all the info everyone provided on this thread!

How was their pricing? I just emailed them for a DTS center console. They said they had one but wanted $350 for it WITHOUT the shifter. I could have had several for $100 - $250 had the color been right. Needless to say, they did not make a sale and I never even got asking the color.

Ranger,
They quoted me $50 for each and $25 for shipping.
Not bad considering they list for $160 each, but I'm still waiting for a response to make sure they come with all the mounting pieces on the bumper.
Can't use them without the mounting hardware.

Gentlemen,

I was in another area on this board posting and came across this thread.
Here is a 'lift' of what I posted there;

GREAT SALVAGE YARD SEARCH ENGINE

I've used this engine a couple of times with decent success.

ANOTHER GOOD SALVAGE YARD SEARCH ENGINE

This site has a search engine which has returned positive results but I've not actually used them yet.

I saved a fortune picking up an alternator through this site for my gf's 2002 Escalade.

Here is a short YouTube vid taken in their yard

I was surprised to not see this on the list.
