Looking to replace brake pads and rotors on my 2014 Cadillac XTS. I see a handful of sites denoting “GM ORIGINAL PARTS.” Is there one or two trusted websites to purchase from (trying to avoid buying Chinese knock-offs)? Also concerned as a couple of sites do not have the brake pads available (part number 84233021).

Google is your friend. . . . there are plenty of US-based OEM GM parts retailers; many are dealerships that sell them for 40% off - the typical mark-up we pay for Service Department parts on service invoices. Parts retailers make their money in shipping, so it pays to shop around.

You will be amazed at how many "AC Delco" parts are now contracted and sourced out-of-country - like China, for example. Read the packaging.

"AC Delco" sources parts from Mexico, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Japan, Canada, Germany, India, others. Just like FoMoCo and Mopar ............

Don't forget local Parts stores like Advance. They will typically give 20-25% discounts for online, pickup at store. Advantage for DYI, return to store without shipping headaches and lifetime warranty.
Also Amazon, If they are fulfilled by or sold by Amazon there is typically no problem for returns.
