"Without Escalade, Cadillac was down 13% to 8914 January sales. With Escalade, Cadillac was up 3% to 11,680 January sales. True, the overall brand’s slight 294-unit increase involves a year-over-year comparison with January 2014, when auto sales were not at their healthiest. In comparison with January 2013, total Cadillac volume was actually down 11% last month. Moreover, Cadillac’s growth was far outpaced by the industry as a whole, which shot up 14% in January 2015."
