I dont think fix is the correct term as the only thing wrong with Cadillac is a lack of full size cars. Everything else is tops in design, performance and reliability.

If that were the case, then the Escalade wouldn't be the only vehicle in its lineup saving Cadillac from insolvency:

http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2015/02/escalade-rescue-cadillacs-numbers-awful-without-big-suv/

"Without Escalade, Cadillac was down 13% to 8914 January sales. With Escalade, Cadillac was up 3% to 11,680 January sales. True, the overall brand’s slight 294-unit increase involves a year-over-year comparison with January 2014, when auto sales were not at their healthiest. In comparison with January 2013, total Cadillac volume was actually down 11% last month. Moreover, Cadillac’s growth was far outpaced by the industry as a whole, which shot up 14% in January 2015."

I wish I knew the reason why the small Cads are not selling. I know they do not appeal to me as they are too small for my needs.

My only guess is consumer expectation from Cadillac is not with small cars or that segment is hyper competitive especially with that MB C class thingy that just came out.
