Cadillac News: Cadillac Oscars ad shows none of its cars or trucks

Cadillac is releasing the first of its three Oscars commercials, and this one never actually shows any of the brand's vehicles. I saw the print ad version in this months " Forbes" magazine.

My impression of the text is that cadillac is apologizing for something . Hopefully others will interpret the ad differently .
Not sure I like the sound of this. Remember the first Infiniti ads back around 1989 or so? All they showed were rocks, twigs, and trees - no cars, and the campaign was a disaster.
I think it just showed the CT6 if I'm not mistaken. looked nice.
