Normally I would think this was a "no-brainer" but since KC suggested it, I don't think I would include a "how-to" connected with countermanding a security system like VATS. What do you think?

Im not sure you want to send people away from the site, but a common question i see: "is a (fill in Cadillac name) worth X amount of dollars". Maybe a link to kbb.com or something like that.

The reason it's a suggestion is that with the failure rate of some of the components of the VATS system and the high cost of replacement parts and such, Many people find the need for such instructions. They're posted on other sites so I felt that we should post it or somehow make it available here!

I understand the need but it could also be used to help steal a car. I was just afraid of the liability issue.

Probably a good idea, although people will see the other site after clicking on the link anyway. But I guess we don't have to be pushing the issue either. Do you think it's worth actually compiling the data here on our site?

its is the computer! IBM gives my school brand new computers every 3 years, but they all still suck and are always broken cus people cant respect public property and treat things right!

people need to be slapped when they abuse something that other people have to use.

Tried to help my dad set the stupid seats in the new DTS, cannot get it, dealer will have to. There are 15 different things you can program with the car through the DIC. Ie, doors unlock with car in park (yes or no). lights stay on after shutting ignition off(yes or no), etc, etc. My dad hates the fact that you have to constantly readjust the driver's seat when you get in because it always defaults to exit mode to make it easier to exit. We followed the instructions EXACTLY. This would be my only gripe with the new one.
