Hi...i have a 2000 Cadillac DTS. I have the older smaller screen navigation with no volume knob. I was wondering if i found a newer 6.5 inch navigation from a wrecked DTS, if I could replace mine with the newer one. I know cadillac didnt change the dash, so fitment would not be a problem, but the cadillac dealer said it wont be compatible, but I thought I would ask on these forums, because my car is already eqipped with naviation and i am replacing it with another cadillac product, so shouldnt it just plug in and work? Thanks to anyone with any information on this.
