Hi Guys,

I have narrowed down my choices for my upgrade from Acura Integra. Acura has been a fun little car but its about time I shed my 'ricer' image into something more professional and bit luxurious.

How reliable is the CTS? I will be looking at 2004 to 2005 CTS in Canada. I am not going for a 3 series BMW because I've not heard good reports on the reliability. Last thing I want to deal with is constant $ money down the drain.

Otherwise, I can possibly start looking at TL again?

Sounds like you should be looking at Jap cars again. The CTS is a 6 year old design unless your buying low mileage V there are some nice examples out there.

One thing nice about owning high production domestics is the maintenance bill is usually lower. You'll just more to do. The V-series adds a half dozen more wear items not seen in the base CTS.

I've got a suggestion.

I upgraded my 130 hp FWD '91 Integra to a 400 hp RWD '05 CTS-V, ended up supercharging it to 500+ hp, and it was the best decision I've ever made!

That's exactly what you should do.

Glad I could help!

You guys have been warned about heckling noobies, and the guy asked a ? and maybe he is in the wrong forum.

I will give you guys time to either delete or edit your posts, then I am gonna give some time outs for "heckling the noobies".

If you think I am kidding, you have till noon (Pacific time) to edit them.

The clear advantage for the G35 is having the awd option(if you're not looking into strictly rwd). Everything else is pretty much up to the styling and motor preference(14 secs vs 13 secs).

I have a friend who just purchased a g35 and still loves my V. There are a few niche features that the G35 offers such as bluetooth capability, mp3 player, and active rear steering.
