Hey everyone,
I dropped my car off at the dealer yesterday for service. The service writer I spoke to told me that since the car was a "premium brand" the CPO warranty has an additional year added to it. Its 6 Years/100k in lieu of the standard 5 Year/100k. Does this sound right to you? If so, I am thrilled. I expected to be out of warranty in a few months.

OK. Now I am really confused. I checked Cadillac's website. It states that if the car is a 2012 or older, it has the 5/100k power train warranty. Model years 2013 and newer have the 6/100k powertrain warranty. So this tells me that he service adviser was wrong. However, the same page on the cadillac website states that CPO vehicles have a 6/70k limited bumper-to-bumper warranty. How does that work if the powertrain is only covered to 5 years?

I have an 11 CPO that I purchased @ 10 months and 7K miles. The 4/50 will be up in May but the B2B (CPO) will extend to 5/2017 and 100K. I only have 28K on it so mileage is never an issue. I have owned many "new" Caddy's over the years but the CPO cars that I have purchased (last 2) have been taken care of better than when I was the "original" owner when I go in with any issues..

Does your CPO give you no charge maintenance thru 5/17?

You can call any Cadillac dealer's service manager, give him you VIN, he can tell you exactly on what day, or what mileage your original/CPO warranty will expire.
