I have a 86 sedan deville and I'm tryin to remove the rear arm rest. Out I got to the four screws that mount to the armret but to the bracket hat holds it how do I get it off the seat. Another question is if the two bolts that hold the brackets are what to take off how do I remove the back top part of the seat

To get the seat-back out, the bench has to come out. Pull it straight up....may have to nudge it back a little. Once the bench is out the the bolts attaching the seat-back are revealed. Once those are out, push up on the seat-back.

No, you have to remove the bottom first. There are two latches under the front of the seat that hold it in place. Push the front of the seat towards the rear of the car and lift up. After you get the seat out you have to remove the two bolts holding the seatbelts in place. Then lift up on the back of the seat to release the latches that hold it in place.
