I have a 1993 deville. I went to start it and it turns over but no start. One of the codes says no distributor signal. Does that mean I need a new cap with coil?

My 89 did that, same code,ended up being the module under the distributer cap. Hope this helps, good luck.

I'm having the same problem with my '92 deville. I took ny ignition control module in to get tested and it tested good so now I'm looking into the pickup coil or maybe bad connections.
