Bypass Air Injector(tion) Pump?

On my 89 eldorado biarritz the air injector or injection pump is shot and makes a terrible noise. It doesn't need to be on there because before it starting makeing the noise it was already bad. i was just wondering if there was a way to bypass so it doesn't affect anything else in the engine.
