Sorry to say I am selling my CTS. Moving out soon so I needed the money and I got a good deal. I just want to thank all of you for the awesome forum and even more awesome times during the East Coast meet. I'll try to stay active with the forum and go to any nearby meets when available.

I appreciate all of the help/DIY's/information you guys and gals put up here. I hope what I have contributed at least helps out a little bit

LOL I gave my camera to a friend to try and get all my vids off (camera broke and it wont let me extract the vids no matter what i try) and he isnt exactly motivated lol. I'd bring it to a shop but its 200 bucks just to look at it and thats with no guarantee that they can fix it

Sucks bigtime. i had a ton of great vids on there. including the 100s of hondas exploding on the track LOL

Does it still plug up and get recognized? Does it show as a disk drive, but just won't let you copy out or what?
Alternatively, if thats the issue, you could use winhex (yes, i know there's probably a million things out now that are better), but you can use that with the file recovery option and pull out the video like that.

No it doesn't show up as anything. It's a known issue with my model of camera (of course) and there is no fix from sony for it. So I'm screwed unless I can find a way to get in myself. I'm not about to dump 200 bucks on it either, don't have it just to waste if it doesn't work :/

I have to need the money

It's breaking my heart but I need the cash and I also would like to not have to worry about the timing chain issue. Odds are in a few years I'll buy a new one. and at that time...I SHALL RETURN.

and yes some good time.. ya how bout when u sell the car u pay to get the camera fixed somehow, id love to see the video of all of us pulling out of that creepy rapist 1 way back road thru the woods. pbly had some great footage

anyway i would never pull a stunt like that and SELL my baby girl! my mom said when im 21 i can take my 04 off insurance and keep the 80K miles i got on her now and see how much a monthy payment is on a 2008-2010 CTS, and my just lease it and then own it if the price is right and just keep making the 04 a hobby car like i intended and keep the 2nd gen CTS stock..

anyway good luck and look for my HUGE post again on teh next meet and greet

Ahahah yeah i never did put the badge back on LOL. It's in my garage somewhere but whatever its all good.

And yeah i'll try to get those vids off but no promises lol. I did have some great shots of the cars in the line through that road LOL. pretty funny how that happened. at least we know who NOT to follow now ahahahhaha

Lol yeah I love hoe we got so badly split up too haha. at the end we had like 4 different groups of cars. i just remember seeing cad4life's vette go by 2 or 3 times before we actually found the rest of the group
