I recently switched to DBA slotted rotors and Hawk Performance ceramic pads. The pads have created significantly less brake dust and also feel smoother when braking than the OEM Brembo pads. Might have marginally less initial bite but I really haven't noticed much.

I didnt inspected the old brake pads and i have ordered Akebono ASP1001 pads for the Front… because in their online catalogue i read they Are for the Brembo Brake System.

the shape of These pads Are different as the old ones, it was too late that i See on the Original GM catalogue that the right oem number is 25940447 .. so probably they will Not Size on my V , im a Right ?

i wonder why these shape of pads Are offered in Many catalogues for the ATS V with the reference Brembo Brake System ?

1001 is the FMSI number (industry standard pad shape number) for the 4-piston Brembos on non-V models. Your V uses FMSI 1405, so most (but not all) aftermarket part numbers will include 1405 in them.

Many online parts catalogs do a poor job of differentiating between different trim levels for a given model of vehicle. It's up to the consumer to know what they're looking for and make sure they get the correct part. Sites like rockauto.com that show pictures of the different pad shapes will help you figure out what's right (even if you don't buy from there, it's a useful resource).

i bought it there (RockAuto)
Gave only attention on "with brembo brakes"

the other Set what seems to be correct was with the Text "Standard brake"

Why do you think that "Standard brake" set seems to be correct? I don't see 1405 in the part number for the "Standard brake" pads, do you? There are plenty of other pads on Rock Auto that do have 1405 in the part number - compare the shape of any of those to the Akebono 1522 pads and see if you still think the Akebono "Standard brake" set is correct.

Looks to me like Akebono doesn't make pads to fit the 6-piston Brembos, or if they do, Rock Auto doesn't carry them.
