Having just traded in my 2006 Mercedes E350-4Matic on a Cadillac CTS-4 due to the high cost of (even routine) maintenance on the Mercedes, imagine my shock and disappointment to be told that, two weeks after I purchased the Cadillac -- with fewer than 42,000 miles -- it needed to have its shocks/struts and mounts replaced at a cost of about $1,400 by my local Cadillac dealer ... and that the car's "bumper-to-bumper" warranty had expired five (5) days earlier! Not really a particularly positive first impression nor a productive way to begin a relationship with my first American "luxury" brand, wouldn't you agree?
