So my 2005 CTSV needs new front and rear bumpers. The dealer wants 532.00 dollars for the front (12335777) and 510.00 dollars for the rear (12335776). I am not spending this amount of money on these bumpers it is ridiculous. I have found them online on ebay and all I see is bumpers for the regular base model cts. Will the regular base model cts bumpers work and are they compatible for my car. I will not put these on my car unless they are going to work and look the same. If anybody has experienced this problem or has any insight I would really appreciate it. Also, to be pushed in the right direction on what I should do from here on out. Also if you are selling them? or have any body who is selling them?? thank you and have good day!

According to the GM Direct data base the bumpers for the V, and for individual CTS base models, each carry different part numbers. There is no way to tell from that whether the actual differences are significant. A body shop could probably tell you whether they are actually interchangeable.
I agree with Austinis - check with the Cadillac dealers that support the forum. The key to a good price nowadays is to be a non-local customer. Many dealers discount to customer's located outside of their physical service territory.

Yes, they will fit. As for "look the same" - have you never seen a V6 CTS?
No, they do not look the same. The rear bumpers are closer in appearance, but they are also not the same.
